Vincent Raffard is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter born in Paris, France, in 1980. He trained as a trumpet player and jazz guitarist for many years at CIM (Centre d’Informations Musicales) in Paris, the American School of Modern Music, and the Conservatoire de Paris X.
He started his professional performing career on the Paris scene in the early 2000s with the group Augustin as their music arranger and lead trumpeter. In 2005, he composed and co-wrote his first album, Celestin, with French actress Caroline Tresca, which was released in 2006 by Sony BMG.
Based in Miami, Florida, since 2007, Vincent created his band, The French Horn Collective, where he loves to sing in his native French, interpreting great classics infused with fun, toe-tapping originals. His style has been described as “Parisian with influences of gypsy jazz, swing, and French chanson, mixed with the vibrant Latin rhythms of Miami.”
