
Sada is a Cuban–Beninese cellist, singer, and composer born in Havana, Cuba. A graduate of Havana’s Guillermo Tomás Conservatory, she holds a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from Florida International University and a diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from the Abbey Road Institute. Her background also includes serving as a cello instructor and orchestra director at Miami Arts Charter School.
Her dynamic performance career features collaborations with global icons such as Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Björk, Carlos Rivera, Kali Uchis, and Halsey. She has taken major televised stages worldwide, including the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the Grammy Awards, and the Billboard Music Awards, alongside studio work contributing to the soundtrack for Amazon Prime Video’s Zorro series.
In 2025, Sada began releasing original music as a singer-composer, earning widespread acclaim for her distinctive sound. The following year, she received the prestigious Cubadisco Award in the Mini Album category, solidifying her place among the leading voices in contemporary Cuban music. Her original repertoire seamlessly blends classical cello with rich Afro-Cuban rhythms, deeply informed by her Yoruba heritage inherited from her Beninese father.
Sada is currently preparing her highly anticipated debut album—a project that builds on her recent success and highlights her unique position at the intersection of tradition, innovation, and cultural identity.
