
Johanner Urquia-Diaz is a professional saxophonist and the founder of Johasax Corp, specializing in luxury hospitality, destination weddings, corporate events, and exclusive private celebrations. With over 20 years of musical training and more than eight years of professional performance experience, he has established himself as a sought-after artist for high-end events throughout the United States, Mexico, and The Bahamas.
A graduate of the University of the Arts of Cuba, where he earned Bachelor’s degrees in Saxophone Performance and Chamber Music, Johanner pairs formal conservatory training with a dynamic, versatile performance style. Whether performing solo, alongside DJs, or with live bands, he creates elegant and engaging musical experiences tailored to every occasion.
His career includes more than seven years as a resident saxophonist at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, performances at the Billboard Latin Music Awards alongside Elvis Crespo, Olga Tañón, and Manuel Turizo, and appearances at world-renowned venues including The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, The Breakers Palm Beach, Faena Miami Beach, Mar-a-Lago Club, Indian Creek Country Club, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, The Field Museum, and Yankee Stadium.
