Diana Rada’s sensitivity and expressivity have charmed audiences since she was nine years old. Her energetic personality and flexibility in performance allow her to master any music style or setting. Her eagerness to express her artistic vision has led her to explore performance outside of her classical training. She has played principal harp in Orquesta Sinfónica de Falcón, Orquesta Filarmónica Nacional, Orquesta Sinfónica de Caracas, Frost Symphony Orchestra, Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra, Miami Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Miami and Ibis Ensemble . She has participated in international music festivals such as Femusc in Brazil, Latin-American harp congress in Venezuela, and Powell River in Canada. She holds a degree from the Royal School of Music in harp performance and a Master’s degree in Classical Performance from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
Diana is committed to promoting the harp as a solo instrument in different settings. She has performed solo recitals in renowned venues such as the Modern Art museum’s concert hall, Clark recital hall, and Gusman Hall. She has done collaborations with jazz, pop, and classical musicians. She participated in Enredos Góticos, a musical theatre piece, as a harpist and actress. Her creativity has led Diana’s harp music to explore any type of music style. She shines in classical, pop, Latin, jazz, rock’n’roll music, and romantic ballads. She has done private performances for the Stamps family, Food for Justice fundraising event, Miccosukee tribe woman’s day, and Pandora Jewel stores.
