Gabriel Saientz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1995, he was awarded a music scholarship to Miami Dade Community College allowing him to travel to the United States and expand his music studies in jazz performance. Two years later, he won first place in a prestigious composition contest and in 1998 received an Outstanding Music Student Award from MDCC. Gabriel was quickly leaving his mark on the academic institution and a year later, he received another music scholarship to the University of Miami where he graduated with a degree in Studio Music and Jazz Performance.
Upon graduation, Gabriel went on to accompany many bands on national tours playing with renowned artists like Chayanne, Franco DeVita, Sheila E., Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, Thalia, Shalim, Gianmarco, Roberto Perera, Maridalia (Juan Luis Guerra), Melton Mustafa, John Fedchock and many others. As a composer, Gabriel has written and produced hundreds of music scores for TV commercials some of which include Ford, Pringles, Verizon, Visa, AT&T, HSBC, HBO, Clorox, Best Buy, AOL, K-Mart, and VW.
Gabriel’s music took a philanthropic twist when he became one of the founders of a non-profit organization called The MUCH Project. The project brings together musicians who strive to make a difference in the world.
Gabriel’s accolades include many advertising awards such as Cannes, NY festival, ADDYS, and many more. In 2009, Gabriel was chosen among 3,000 composers as the winner of the $100K Regis & Kelly Theme Song Search. His song now plays every morning on the show. In 2012 he was awarded three Latin Grammys and nominated for a fourth.
Gabriel currently spends his days working as an independent producer, writing songs for Zumba fitness and many other artists, while recording and touring with singer Chayanne.
